reCAPTCHA is nowadays one of the safest way to perform a Turing test. Many file hosts have implemented it for their free users, so it's becoming more and more of a problem when there is need to download multiple files from a single uploader (such as spanned file archives). As an occasional downloader, I don't have need to purchase premium accounts and lift these restrictions, so I mainly use JDownloader with free accounts to download them. Read more

As a personal collection of large files grows, one has always problems with additional storage. Once the problem was with not enough disk space, but today it may as well be the physical space to store the disks. So, I needed an installation of Linux in order to try something development related. Recently I tried several major LiveCD distributions in order to see which one has evolved significantly, and I thought that Fedora and SuSE did a good job, but was not completely satisfied.
